Soccer Game Preview: Renton vs. Lindbergh

The Renton Red Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Lindbergh Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Renton will be strutting in after a win while Lindbergh will be coming in after a loss.

Renton is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They skirted past Tyee 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Renton in their matchups with Tyee: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Lindbergh didn't have quite enough to beat Evergreen on Tuesday and fell 4-3. Lindbergh have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lindbergh now has a losing record of 6-7-1. As for Renton, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-7.

Renton suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Lindbergh in their previous meeting back in March. Can the Red Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
