Brandon waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Kearsley Hornets 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Thursday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Brandon took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-12.

Brandon can attribute much of their success to Brooke Roberts, who had 11 digs and four aces.

Roberts wasn't the only good servers: Brandon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in four consecutive matchups.

Brandon now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Kearsley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-16.

Brandon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kearsley, after both having extra time off, they and Kettering will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
