Baseball Recap: Peak to Peak's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Peak to Peak unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Family Tigers.

Peak to Peak saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Strong, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Peak to Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Holy Family, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peak to Peak will square off against Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Holy Family, they will face off against Colorado Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 4, the Mustangs 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
