Basketball Recap: St. Helena College and Career Academy Comes Up Short

St. Helena College and Career Academy came up into this matchup off a tough 51-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Bogalusa Lumberjacks by a score of 39-37 on Monday. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lumberjacks earlier this season, when they won 34-29.

St. Helena College and Career Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Bogalusa, they moved to 2-8 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

St. Helena College and Career Academy will challenge Pope John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bogalusa, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 40-18 loss against Sumner on the 4th.
