If Chisholm Trail Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lakehill Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Drew Perry. The Lakehill Prep Warriors managed a 61-57 victory over the Chisholm Trail Academy Blazers on Thursday thanks in part to Perry, who went 11 for 21 to rack up 31 points and five boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Mercer Palamar, who put up six points and nine rebounds. Palamar is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Chisholm Trail Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jadon Henderson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. Victor Aispuro was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Lakehill Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Chisholm Trail Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-10.

Looking ahead, Lakehill Prep will welcome North Dallas Adventist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lakehill Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.7 points per game this season. As for Chisholm Trail Academy, they will head out to square off against Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
