Mountain Ridge came out on top against American Fork on Thursday thanks in part to Brooklyn Van Renselaar's efforts. Van Renselaar wasn't messing around, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The game was her third straight with at least one stolen base.

Van Renselaar's strong effort led Mountain Ridge over American Fork and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sentinels are a perfect 5-0 against the Cavemen going back to May of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
