Football Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lakeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 50-28 to the Portage Northern Huskies. On the bright side, the 28- point effort marked the Spartans' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Portage Northern, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeview will square off against Kalamazoo Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Portage Northern, they will venture away from home to face off against Gull Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
