Basketball Recap: Lehman Falls to Bronx High School of Science in First Game of Season

Lehman unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bronx High School of Science Wolverines on Wednesday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Lehman's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Carlos Rodriguez, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds, and Iduma Okogeri, who put up 11 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehman will face off against Gompers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bronx High School of Science, they will square off against Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on December 5.
