Baseball Game Preview: Curie Condors vs. Hubbard Greyhounds

For the second straight game, Curie will face off against Hubbard. The Condors will head out on the road to face off against the Greyhounds at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Curie was able to grind out a solid victory over Hubbard, taking the game 5-1.

For Hubbard's part, Serafin Millan was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Millan has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Millan wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Yosman Rondon, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Hubbard's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-2-1. As for Curie, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
