While Magnolia's win against El Dorado wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wildcats 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Magnolia's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.25 runs across that stretch. As for El Dorado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Magnolia has already played their next match, a 4-3 loss against Arkadelphia on the 8th. As for El Dorado, they will be playing at home against Lake Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
