Basketball Recap: Harris Armour's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Fayette Academy over Oak Forest Academy

Fayette Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The matchup between the Vikings and the Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets didn't end well, with the Vikings falling 71-53.

Fayette Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Harris Armour, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kahne Dozier, who had seven points and eight boards.

Fayette Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Oak Forest Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Fayette Academy will challenge Hardin County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Forest Academy, they will square off against Bowling Green at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
