Baseball Recap: Bishop's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Bishop put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Orange Grove. Bishop blew past Orange Grove 12-0. This was payback for the Badgers, who suffered a 5-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory (which was Bishop's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Orange Grove, they dropped their record down to 9-6-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bishop will take on rival San Diego at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bishop 3.8, San Diego 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Orange Grove is set to face off against their familiar foe Santa Gertrudis Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
