While Peninsula Catholic didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Pallotti Panthers 10-0 on Wednesday. Considering the Knights have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Quinn Freakley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Addison Dent was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Autumn Baker was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
