Baseball Recap: Bernalillo's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Bernalillo suffered their biggest loss since March 7th on Tuesday. They lost 18-6 to the Belen Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-4 back in February.

Ulisses Castro led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Jacob Duran also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Bernalillo's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8. As for Belen, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Bernalillo by a score of 14-8 later that day.
