Flag Football Recap: Santa Barbara Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Santa Barbara was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Oxnard Yellowjackets, falling 41-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, with their most recent defeat being a 27-0 loss back in September.

Santa Barbara's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Oxnard, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Santa Barbara will face off against rival San Marcos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Oxnard is set to take on their familiar foe Ventura at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Yellowjackets 9.4, the Cougars 14) so any points scored will be well earned.
