Baseball Game Preview: Eagle Grove Eagles vs. Southeast Valley Warriors

Eagle Grove and Southeast Valley are an even 3-3 against one another since July of 2017, but likely not for long. The Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eagle Grove has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Eagle Grove wound up with the same score they had in their last game (11-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Southeast Valley came up short against Pocahontas on Monday and fell 9-4.

Southeast Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Eagle Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Eagle Grove couldn't quite get it done against Southeast Valley when the teams last played back in June of 2025 as they fell 9-4. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
