Recap: Harrisburg Christian vs. Dayspring Christian Academy Warriors
Harrisburg Christian lost against the Dayspring Christian Academy Warriors back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Harrisburg Christian ended up on the wrong side of a rough 71-48 walloping at the hands of Dayspring Christian Academy. Harrisburg Christian has not had much luck with Dayspring Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Noah Huxta was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight assists and six rebounds for Dayspring Christian Academy. That makes it four consecutive games in which Huxta has scored at least 25% of Dayspring Christian Academy's points. Miracle Johnsons was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Harrisburg Christian bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrisburg Christian will be home for the holidays to greet New Covenant Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dayspring Christian Academy will take on Veritas Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
