Soccer Recap: Rocky Mountain Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Rocky Mountain was not quite Fairview's equal in the second half on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairview Knights. If the Lobos were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Knights when the teams met back in May of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Rocky Mountain and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Fairview, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rocky Mountain will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Legend at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Fairview, they will head out on the road to take on Boulder at 7:00 p.m. on March 20th.
