Volleyball Recap: Arete Prep Comes Up Short

Arete Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Chandler Prep Titans, falling 3-0. If the CHARGERS were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Titans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20, 25-15.

Peyton Avery paced Arete Prep's offense, picking up five kills. Avery really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. Kailee Jarman controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Arete Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Chandler Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 10-16.

Arete Prep has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Lincoln Prep on the 24th. As for Chandler Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Leading Edge Academy - GEC on the 24th.
