Volleyball Recap: Marion County's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After flying high against Sayre last Monday, Marion County came back down to earth. Marion County fell just short of the Pulaski County Maroons by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Marion County fell to 4-1. As for Pulaski County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marion County is set to challenge their familiar foe Allen County-Scottsville at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Pulaski County will square off against rival Western Hills at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
