Avia Marusich put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Marusich wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. Meanwhile, Rangeview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Mountain Range, falling 17-2. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly 15 runs.

George Washington's record is now 1-3. As for Rangeview, their record now sits at 0-5.
