Baseball Recap: Littlefield Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

It was a proper cat-fight when Littlefield duked it out with Slaton on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with a 12-8 victory over the Tigers. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Littlefield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Slaton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15-1 record this season.
