If Founders Classical Academy was riding high fresh off their 14-1 takedown of IDEA Monterrey Park College Prep on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hoplites came up short against the Somerset Academy Collegiate Bears on Thursday, falling 12-4. The Hoplites' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sam Syverson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.
