Preview: LaGrange Academy vs. Fulton Science Academy Mustangs
After both having extra time off, LaGrange Academy and the Fulton Science Academy Mustangs will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 5:00 p.m. on December 1st. Fulton Science Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on LaGrange Academy, who comes in off a win.
LaGrange Academy took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They put the hurt on Lafayette Christian with a sharp 47-25 win.
Anna Beth Kinnersley was on fire: she dropped a triple-double on 27 points, 18 rebounds, and 12 steals. Another player making a difference was Laura Knight, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-22, which was the final score in Fulton Science Academy's tilt against Praise Academy two weeks ago. Fulton Science Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
LaGrange Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Fulton Science Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for LaGrange Academy against Fulton Science Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 87-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for LaGrange Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
