There's no place like home for Red Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mesa Jackrabbits by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Mountain Lions, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 23-25, 25-17.

Brexton Tompkinson paced Red Mountain's offense, picking up 22 kills. Tompkinson got some help from Caleb Haskett and his 38 assists. Haskett was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Red Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Mesa, they dropped their record down to 13-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
