Softball Recap: Royal Oak Comes Up Short

Royal Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Seaholm/Groves Maples, falling 19-2.

Royal Oak saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Stevenson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run. Lucille Kuchenreuther also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Royal Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Seaholm/Groves, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Royal Oak will welcome Groves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seaholm/Groves, they will host North Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
