Soccer Recap: San Angelo Central Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

San Angelo Central lost against Frenship back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The San Angelo Central Bobcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frenship Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Tigers are ranked 18th).

San Angelo Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matchups. As for Frenship, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

As of now, neither San Angelo Central nor Frenship have any future games scheduled.
