Football Recap: Cuyama Valley Sets Scoring Season-High Against Laguna Blanca

Cuyama Valley scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 36-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laguna Blanca Owls. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cuyama Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Laguna Blanca, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Cuyama Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Laguna Blanca, they will host Hillcrest Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
