Soccer Recap: Trimble Tech Takes a Loss

Trimble Tech was the 2-1 winner over Polytechnic when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Polytechnic Parrots who were credited with the win on Friday. The Polytechnic Parrots got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Trimble Tech Bulldogs' three. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Habram Munoz wasn't going to let Polytechnic walk away unscathed as he scored both of Trimble Tech's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.

Trimble Tech's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Polytechnic, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.

Coming up, Trimble Tech will take on South Hills at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Trimble Tech's last six games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Polytechnic, they will face off against Arlington Heights at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
