Springboro gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles a 25-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bella Breen made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Breen was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
