After losing to Waccamaw the last time they met, Socastee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Braves sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Warriors on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Braves have won by just one run.

Looking ahead, Socastee will take on East Clarendon at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waccamaw, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Philip Simmons at 6:00 p.m.
