Baseball Game Preview: Kentucky Country Day Bearcats vs. Oldham County Colonels

Kentucky Country Day is 0-4 against Oldham County since May of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bearcats will head out on the road to take on the Colonels at 5:30 p.m. Kentucky Country Day is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Monday just wasn't the day for Kentucky Country Day's offense. They fell 3-0 to Bullitt East on Monday. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kentucky Country Day saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maverick Mead, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Oldham County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Collins.

Oldham County's loss dropped their record down to 11-16-1. As for Kentucky Country Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Kentucky Country Day suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Oldham County in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Bearcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
