Volleyball Preview: Walton Raiders vs. Marietta Blue Devils
Walton is a perfect 5-0 against Marietta since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. Walton will be strutting in after a win while Marietta will be coming in after a loss.

Walton had won four straight road games dating back to last season and Ella Cobb did her part to make it five on Saturday. The Raiders came out on top against Pope by a score of 3-1 with plenty of help from Cobb, who had 22 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last six times she's played.
Walton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.
Meanwhile, Marietta didn't have quite enough to beat Sequoyah on Saturday and fell 2-1. While the Blue Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Chiefs 25-18 in the first set.
Marietta started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-19, 15-7.
Marietta now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Walton, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
