Baseball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Palm Springs Indians by a score of 7-6.

Alejandro KohnRabassa made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Alex Chui, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with.

Polytechnic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Palm Springs, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Polytechnic will face off against Muir at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Palm Springs, they will take on Arroyo Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
