Baseball Game Preview: West Campus Warriors vs. Armijo Royals

The West Campus Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Armijo Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Campus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.

West Campus is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They fell 10-5 to Mesa Verde.

Riley Gilson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 26 runs the game before, Armijo was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against Rodriguez, falling 8-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Royals have suffered since February 18th.

West Campus' loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Armijo, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8-1.
