Football Game Preview: Perry Commodores vs. Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets

The Perry Commodores will challenge the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Perry nor Cory-Rawson posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Perry is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against North Baltimore on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Commodores were beaten by the Tigers 54-6. The Commodores were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-0.

Meanwhile, Cory-Rawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 14-6 to Waynesfield-Goshen.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cory-Rawson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
