Vanguard Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-9, 25-17.

Vanguard Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Merit Preparatory Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
