Football Recap: Mandan Comes Up Short

Mandan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 41-20 to the Bismarck Demons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 33-29 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Mandan's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bismarck, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mandan will take on Williston at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Braves will be up against the Coyotes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bismarck, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Legacy at 7:00 p.m.
