Basketball Recap: Brookfield Comes Up Short

Brookfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Southeast Pirates, falling 47-11. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Southeast, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Brookfield will square off against Newton Falls at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Newton Falls has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Southeast, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against LaBrae at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as LaBrae comes in on six and Southeast on three.
