League recap: Dunn runs winning streak to four

Dunn (14-4, 5-1) is red-hot, having won four straight games, the longest such streak in Condor. The streak was extended by another two games over the past week, including a 4-1 victory over Santa Clarita Christian and a 30-5 win over Immanuel Christian.

Behind a 2-0 record over the past week, Dunn made the biggest jump in the California state rankings, all the way from 752 to 714.

The Earwigs' pitching staff dominated this week, allowing only 12 hits and 11 walks, both of which led the league. On the season, Dunn has allowed just 116 hits, while striking out 118 batters. Ryan Layton leads Dunn with 65 strikeouts in 52 innings pitched.

The Earwigs scored a league-best 51 runs this week, adding to their league-leading 201 runs on the season. Dunn's key hitters include Bryce Mckibbin, who has a team-high 26 runs, and Cody Boal, who leads the squad with with 19 RBIs.



Jake Eisaguirre led the league with seven hits this week for the Earwigs. On the season, he's hitting .395 and ranks fifth in the league with 17 hits.
