Volleyball Game Preview: Archmere Academy Auks vs. Newark Charter School Patriots

The Archmere Academy Auks will challenge the Newark Charter School Patriots at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Archmere Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: MOT Charter, who was ranked ninth at the time (Archmere Academy was ranked fourth). The Auks came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Newark Charter School got the win against Wilmington Friends on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-6, 25-21.

Newark Charter School's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Archmere Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-2.

Archmere Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Newark Charter School in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Auks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
