Basketball Recap: Cleburne Takes a Loss

Cleburne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 59-46 to the Seguin Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 832nd, while the Cougars are ranked 322nd).

Cleburne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Seguin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season.

When Cleburne and Seguin next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Cleburne will try to stop Centennial's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Seguin will face off against Mansfield Summit and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
