Softball Recap: Perryton Takes a Loss

Perryton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 19-6 to the Borger Bulldogs. If the Rangers were looking for revenge after losing 15-3 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Perryton's record now sits at 5-13. As for Borger, they moved to 6-21 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perryton will face off against Randall at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Randall's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Perryton's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Borger, they and West Plains will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
