Basketball Recap: Tri-County Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winston, Tri-County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mercer Cardinals by a score of 64-52. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won four in a row.

Tri-County's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Mercer, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Tri-County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-40 defeat against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris on the 14th. As for Mercer, they will head out on the road to square off against Trenton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
