Baseball Recap: Pentucket Regional Takes a Loss

After flying high against Whittier RVT on Thursday, Pentucket Regional came back down to earth. Pentucket Regional fell just short of the Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for Pentucket Regional in their meetings with Greater Lowell Tech: they've now lost three in a row.

Pentucket Regional now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Greater Lowell Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pentucket Regional will take on Manchester Essex at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greater Lowell Tech, they will square off against Shawsheen Valley Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
