Softball Recap: Junction City Extends Winning Streak to Three

Junction City waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Marist Spartans 17-7. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by nine runs or more this season.

The win got Junction City back to even at 6-6. As for Marist, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Junction City will have a chance to go back-to-back against Marist: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
