After a string of four wins, McClain's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to the Hillsboro Indians on the road by a 67-50 margin. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

McClain's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Hillsboro, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-4.

McClain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 61-28 defeat against Unioto on the 18th. Hillsboro has also already played their next contest, a 63-42 loss against Fairland on the 18th.
