Volleyball Recap: Copperas Cove Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Copperas Cove had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Brentwood Christian Bears 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldawgs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Copperas Cove took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-10.

Leading Copperas Cove to victory were AVERY ROBINSON and TAYLOR MOOSMAN. ROBINSON had 16 assists and three digs, while MOOSMAN had eight digs.

Copperas Cove was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August of 2024.

Copperas Cove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Thorndale on the 12th. As for Brentwood Christian, they will take on Antonian Prep in a tournament on Thursday.
