Football Game Preview: West Boca Raton Bulls vs. Olympic Heights Lions

The West Boca Raton Bulls are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the Olympic Heights Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

West Boca Raton is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Spanish River on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. West Boca Raton came up short against Spanish River, falling 32-6. The Bulls haven't had much luck with the Sharks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Olympic Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 14-6 to Goleman. One positive for the Lions, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

West Boca Raton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Olympic Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything went West Boca Raton's way against Olympic Heights when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as West Boca Raton made off with a 27-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Boca Raton since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
