Basketball Game Preview: Ronan Chiefs vs. Columbia Falls Wildcats

Ronan hasn't had much luck against Columbia Falls recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Ronan Chiefs are taking a road trip to face off against the Columbia Falls Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Ronan will be strutting in after a victory while Columbia Falls will be coming in after a loss.

Ronan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Polson on Saturday as Ronan made off with a 71-50 win. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Columbia Falls' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 71-54 to Browning. The Wildcats were down 58-37 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Ronan pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Columbia Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Ronan came out on top in a nail-biter against Columbia Falls in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 58-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ronan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
